There are health and safety issues that can not be ignored and mean that this race can not go ahead. These are:
"The River estuary is in a very dangerous state after all the debris has
been washed down and is now blocking the start and finish area around Spittal
point and on to the beach as well.
Also the state of the cliff top tracks are very wet and slippery because
of the weather and with it being an out and back course and narrow passing
places with sheer drops onto the beach and it is dangerous hazard.
Priority has to be safety first in any event we organise as a club before
there is a serious incident that we would always regret."
The series will be reduced to five legs. This means that overall position will now be calculated on the best 3 results and the team positions will be based on the best 4 results.
